• buttons to rate articles (just log input, don't do anything with it)
• feedback form: comment, (optional) email (just log to database for now)

The main purpose is to collect feedback to guide the development of the system. It doesn't matter than the system sucks currently, that should encourage more feedback. The feedback form should be quick and easy - possibly, it should be an AJAX overlay so that the user doesn't have to interrupt what they're doing. The feedback link/button should be prominent on every page.
